New food blog launched

FaB Food Blog is a new blog dedicated to sharing fabulous recipes. The truly great thing about these recipes is just how simple they are to prepare. You don’t have to be some sort of wizard in the kitchen. Every recipe I looked at so far has left me saying to myself  ”Hey, I can do that” and I am not someone who particularly likes cooking. I cook because if I didn’t I wouldn’t get to eat. So anything I do in the kitchen has to be really quick and simple and preferably tasty.

The two main contributors are heavily into their food but at the same time are not so precious about how the recipes should be prepared e.g. instead of saying that there should be so many grammes of this and so many millilitres of that they are more likely to say “a spoonful or so if this” and “a glug of that” and encourage you to try the recipe and find out what works for you. What’s more none of the recipes require spending a fortune on the ingredients so even if you are on a tight budget you will find something here.

It is well worth checking out the FaB Food Blog.

Making money from nothing 12 months on

First off, I can’t believe twelve months have passed since I took up the challenge to see how easy it is to make money online starting with nothing. Well I have proved it is possible to do this. However, it is not easy and given that I was restricted on how much time I could spend there were a number of options that I was not able to explore. Hence why I concentrated on PTC sites.

The main problem I have with the PTC sites is getting referrals, more specifically active referrals, given that I was only allowed to use money I made rather than being allowed to use a small sum of money to kick start the project. Another big problem has been  trying to find stable and sustainable sites. 90% of the sites I signed up with ceased operating. Despite this I have still made $135 ($100 net profit after deductions for advertising) which while not brilliant is still better than nothing and all for just a few minutes a day, and even then not everyday!

If you are interested in making a few extra dollars here and there with no financial risk at all the PTC is one way of doing it. Two of the best are Neobux and Clixsense, both of whom have been around for several years and operate a sustainable business model. In addition they also offer a number of additional ways for you to earn.

So to summarise. Of the three targets set in the original challenge  two have been completed.

1. Make $10

2. Make $50

Still have a way to go to complete step three ‘Make $500′ but working within the time constraints I have I hope to do that well within the next twelve months. I have recently been researching other cost free  or very cheap methods of making money online.

Needless to say that if I had had several hours a day to spend on the project then achieving  all three goals would not have been a problem and indeed I would have been able to develop a sustainable income.
